I usually just directly approach girls if I find them attractive. Today, there was a girl on the bus who I thought was really attractive. She was with her friend and standing beside me, so I tapped her on the shoulder and asked if she lived around “X” place.
My thinking was that if she said yes, I could use that to naturally continue the conversation. She said she actually had to get off several stops earlier, then pointed to her friend and said that her friend lives there.
I didn’t really know what I was doing in the moment. I had already smoked three cigarettes and was kind of high, so I just went with it.
Now I’m wondering, did this come across as confident and direct, or did it seem desperate/awkward? I’d genuinely like some perspective on whether this is a decent way to approach someone or if I should be doing it differently.

you did shitjeet. it only shows that you have no control over your thoughts. your core beliefs and your speech dont align which is why you have to go around deleting the replies, which sadly isnt possible in the real world. get better.

I deleted the reply because I felt bad about bringing someone’s mom into this for no reason. I was in the wrong, and I’ve already admitted that.

Yeah, I’ve actually been thinking about quitting for a long time. I usually keep some mints with me after I smoke, and I also carry a little pocket perfume in case my clothes start smelling like cigarettes.
