How do you guys clean your ear? I used to use cotton swabs but stopped after learning it is not effective and actually causes micro scratches in ear lining that keeps on making you scratch it again and again due to itch.
Instead now i just apply some soap in ears while showering and let it stay for sometime then tilt my head and pour a jug of water in each ear and again tilt my head to rinse out the earwax and water.
Ears feel so clean and never itch but i am not sure if it is advisable.

And i cant stop drinking water, showering brushing teeth and rinsing mouth just because we dont have cleanest water. Cleaning ears is no different.

After I shower, the wax usually loosens ends up exiting my ear canal. I just stick my micro fibre towel in my ear (just a bit obviously) and the waxy bits come out.
At home, I ask my mum to clean it with q tips and cotton.
