but how did you know that you had to do it in this OTM strike PE of this stock on this day, and within that 10 minute time of window?
everything is dynamic. Your reasoning of each day and your strike price. I put that order yesterday at work and exited after i woke up today.
But few common thing i look are high activity in stock. Doesnt matter positive or negative. Because stock could move dull or go sideways otherwise. Then i look at 1w,1y,3y trends. Its has to have some stable kinds of structure and not like you pump and dump or the random spike which occurs when something happens internally.
after than its reading stock trend and mixing that though with possible health of nifty.
Yesterday when i looked, nifty looked delicate and the oberoi reality has won the contract but overall oberoi doesnt have impressive balance sheet. So all the movement is pure impulse. Then i looked at combination of 3y,5y trends. and made the decision. and since oberoi and nifty isnt grim, its likely that stock will bounce up before going down. So even though put was at 10rs after closing yesterday i put entry order at 7rs
all this thinking took mere 10 seconds. Dont complicate it. Understand where to look. Read the 8ch thread
