Just like there is anti-white propaganda now in the west, we too have had anti-offwhite propaganda in India: Since 2014 when the Modi BJP RSS Dravidian govt. Formed, the anti-Punjab sentiment has been constantly promoted.
First of all, the majority of Sardars/Punjabis are fair-skinned, or at least used to be before 1947, before the britishers divided half our North Indian brethren into another country (and made that country our enemy on top of that) and forced us to mix with the south Indians, instead of dividing the country into North and South India which would have been the logical thing to do.
