I finished B. Tech. CSE from a tier-3 college a couple of months ago.
I live in Lucknow.
Technically I have gotten a placement but the company is taking too long with their stupid procedures. Around 50 of us got placed. The jeets who were higher up in the serial no have completed their training and a few have even got offer letters. For us, training hasn't even started yet. Instead, they took another round of HR and technical interview for a different technical role. I don't know what they're doing. Also the CTC is just 3.5 LPA.
What are my other options? What jobs/exams should I apply for? I think I should have applied for that IBPS IT exam. Too bad I missed it. Should I give GATE next year? What should I do?

Forgot to mention that the interviewer told us that for this role they have just one vacancy. Kek. IDK if they ran out of jobs or what. They just abruptly stopped responding to emails and giving training and all that.
Placements in college is just marketing at this point. They can withdraw the offer any time. Even IITs aren't safe. Just keep doing whatever you can. Apply for jobs around you. Don't waste your life in meme exams and GATE unless your parents will support you for a couple of years without torturing you.
