Yaar this is scary. i just performed data recovery using this software Autopsy used for Digital Forensics. i can literally see all the deleted files and recover them
You can also scan phones using this and get all deleted images, videos, documents browsing history etc etc
This could be very useful in future if your wife is Randi or not

Now after you enable file sharing between phone and computer then you gotta archive the whole System in an ISO file, take that ISO file and store it in your computer, you can use it anytime for scan. not necessarily you need the phone always
