The Indian Academia is a complete rot. 5 years of your life in that will make you completely useless and will permanently lock you in a teaching job forever. The people I had worked with in the past, especially those who had a PhD were mostly hot garbage who are all talk and were very pathetic when it comes to actually working. They are walking LLMs (older versions).
