why is shonen trash most popular among jeets? i rarely encounter jeets on yt/mal/anilist who have good reccomendations and read anything that is not copy of some battle shonen like jjk or one piece. is it because we have a large pool of manchild who lack emotional maturity and intellectual depth.

Animation is the first thing to consider if you do not care much about depth of story. If i had to make a complain, i would wish they would be a little more oriented towards Kagurabachi than towards JJK, which feels like a parody. Not even Gintama saw popularity, when it is pretty good.

I honestly relate to it, watching anime had so much stigma, it makes me disgusted in this new wave of anime fans. Glad to see someone who learned about it from animax.
