its the warm fuzzy feeling that I missed for so long, Shirobako really reminded me again why I started watching anime in the first place
or why I even give a shit about art, for it is a means to find yourself, the thing which brings you purpose, connection and fulfilment
most of them didn't know what they were doing, save for the fact that they had fun in the moment
they had to accept their positions because thats what life had to offer them and resistance only meant stalling their progress
guess its just how it is for almost all of us you can have so many choices and you gotta make the best out of it, probably the reason why so many shows from that era had that indescribable quality to them
its the same struggle and sleepless nights and the unwavering thirst for achieving what they think they were capable of made the end result special
looking back at it it wasn't particularly great but that didn't matter because of all the memories they made and all the bonds that were forged during their stay
maybe it's true that we dont realize how good we have it until much later
