it's usually inspired by the shows i watch. usually it is science fiction.
Maybe i will try to insert character x from show x and insert to show y and make a new spinoff series or something. anyways these are all hazy ideas which eventually die in my brain.
when you actually sit down and try to start writing you realize how creatively bankrupt you are. it is really hard to write something that flows normally, or something that does not make you cringe so much that you quit. and i have too much of an ego to use AI

AI is not bad to throw ideas into. What I like to do is not write story per say, but explore different ideas and sort of refine into one what can work
Also few random Isekai but now out of habit takes time and sometimes i just sleep while reading but the experience is pretty good u need to imagine every. That Isekai spider anime i stared as anime then shifted to manga then later later Read it's whole light novel

anyways in response to the OP i have actually considered writing a manga or making an OVA/ONA, not just cause i have formal education in the literary medium but also cause I've quite a lot of ideas on what to write. I can churn out a new plot every day but the thing is, I don't get enough time to really think about it and make something
