it's usually inspired by the shows i watch. usually it is science fiction.
Maybe i will try to insert character x from show x and insert to show y and make a new spinoff series or something. anyways these are all hazy ideas which eventually die in my brain.
when you actually sit down and try to start writing you realize how creatively bankrupt you are. it is really hard to write something that flows normally, or something that does not make you cringe so much that you quit. and i have too much of an ego to use AI

AI is not bad to throw ideas into. What I like to do is not write story per say, but explore different ideas and sort of refine into one what can work
Also few random Isekai but now out of habit takes time and sometimes i just sleep while reading but the experience is pretty good u need to imagine every. That Isekai spider anime i stared as anime then shifted to manga then later later Read it's whole light novel

anyways in response to the OP i have actually considered writing a manga or making an OVA/ONA, not just cause i have formal education in the literary medium but also cause I've quite a lot of ideas on what to write. I can churn out a new plot every day but the thing is, I don't get enough time to really think about it and make something

I have some basic ideas about the story and the outline but haven’t started it yet. I also don’t think ppl will read web novels set in India
Protagonist is a 24 year old guy who’s Faustian spirited and travels around India in his small car. Everything he owns is in that car. He only has a RK flat for address purposes. He’s mostly chill and free-spirited
Another character who can travel with protagonist is a 44 yo guy who got released from jail after being falsely jailed for rape and murder of a woman 28 years ago. He’s kaiji-esque and has backstory. He will be introduced later in the novel
The novel series doesn’t have anything supernatural or large stakes. The stakes are usually medium and low
There are other characters who can be antagonists or tritagonists sometimes. They can be killed in a particular arc or survive it and come back. They can interact with protagonists in later arcs and also with other characters. Some of them will also interact with other important characters and can move forward from there
Ideas are of a religious guy, an ex-MARCOS, a CBI officer investigating, off-grid guy, middle aged woman in a dead end job, an animal(prolly some wild animal), serial killer couple or of organisations like some secret society(not large scale), a cult, local militias or some faction of army/govt. There’s more ideas but this is what I thought on top of my head
The novel will mostly have adventure, slice of life(in car/lifestyle), black comedy, exploration(about new places), investigation, mystery(in some arcs). It has little parody of Indian subcultures in some chapters. There will also be horror or related if they’re dealing with mythology or something disturbing
The novel series deals with free will, existentialism, loneliness, escapism and man vs many conflicts like society, nature or themselves.
I want to keep it comfy 75% of the series.
