Likely never, unless the asstronauts bring some space bacteria and call it alien... the thing is life is incredibly rare, animal life is even rarer, intelligent life like us near-impossible, doesn't surprise me we don't find much transmissions coming along.

i really want aliens to come to us so bad. its not possible that we are the only intelligent species out there. there could be someone like us right ?

we are literally alone in our super cluster
maybe in the neighbouring cluster there could be living beings like us but that would be so many gazillion light years away you might as well considering it pipe dream

The distances are too great, even if the Alcubierre drive could actually be made, space dust will obliterate your ship unless you go at essential snail's pace.

Aliens could certainly exist in our neighborhood, intelligent life prolly does not, there are just so many variables, our human brains try to make us feel like this is supposed to be normal occurrences but on universal scale it is so rare that if you were God just looking at bits flipping you wouldn't be able to tell life form just normal noise.

there are certainly (((ayylmaoo))) out there even in our own solar sys, caveat is they dont subscribe to the kind of intelligence we humans do
self awareness and consciousness is entirely separate matter

There are only 2 things that can happen:
A virus outbreak which has a high probability of happening and a alien invasion which has a very very low probability of happening but not zero
A zombie outbreak or the second coming is impossible
