This is just a fun project as i am bored and have lots of time on my hand for a month or so.
I don't need your advice to get a job or sheit
So... I am building a second brain in minecraft which will be a building with different rooms and each room will have barrels and books inside them where i will store/dump information
I thought of 6 rooms:
1.current activites, their status
2. Knowledge Center : what i need to know, what i already know?
3.Failure hall: what i learned, mistakes not to do?
4.idea vault/ idea dump
5. future plans, need to do stuff, decisions
6. goals completed, a museum of achievements

yaar i am waiting for that fucking nigger to reply to my whatscrap message but its just not happening
it must be an autism thing
im not able to break free from this paralysis

this is an organized dump, for instant use i have a pocket diary in which i note down every single idea and thought i come across
then i will organize these ideas in minecraft

idk tbh
we can use inch too if setup properly
>>8313
it takes me 30 min avg and max 1 hour if i am too confused to prioritise those ideas and rearrange them
>>8315
>we can use inch too if setup properly
that's what my job blog is for.
>it takes me 30 min avg and max 1 hour if i am too confused to prioritise those ideas and rearrange them
... and you can't open it wherever you want and it takes time to get it running as well?

Holy gran autismo
A simple text editor works fine for me, the only new thing I learned from that book was the value of structuring every info in your life into the same PARA system and doing weekly reviews to maintain this and the information flow system to consolidate into tasks.

>and you can't open it wherever you want and it takes time to get it running as well?
good point, but i just need electricity and it will be up in 5 min, not that big of a deal
>that's what my job blog is for.
if i am right, then your blog is just a /vent/ or dump, it lacks proper organization of thoughts, cause i will be rereading all my stuff and it will lead to more frustration, which i am trying to decrease imo

same, it is boring asf, but a good lightweight platform for my idea ig

i've tried to stick to digital platforms like micro, obsidian; even customized them to look good but still didn't stick to it
problem with irl notebooks is that they are linear and unlike digitally where you can sort ideas according to folders
dividing the notebook into some sections can fix it temporarily, but if the mind wanders...like mine does, so in a long term it will be just messy and not well organized

If I was OP, Id make a mod or a connection to a website where my writings can be displayed instantly, so itd be like a blog too, and also allow for a server link or something.
Ill bump this thread every now and then OP i want you to take this idea somewhere
Well, interested to see how the actual building will look like once it gets populated.
Right now it's just empty.
Also, you don't want to remember mundane events like visiting a place on a specific date, eating a specific food at a specific place with specific someone etc.?
That would go to knowledge center? That sounds more like it's for technical stuff.
IAC here. I was building something like this a while back, and It's done somewhat. I made a website where I could upload books and such and "browse" it as a feed, like scrolling reels. Ofc it wasnt like a 3d world like your minecraft, but I really like this idea, keep going.
A big problem with personal knowledge systems is that without the dedication to actually sift through it all the time, it goes limp.
The only use of a knowledge system is when you scour it all day, and tbh I dont ever do that, but I do also have an obsidian vault with many notes.

i have setup the design like two steps
first, all instant ideas and thoughts will be written down in my pocket notebook, which i've been using since a month, so not a problem of leaving it alone
Then, when i have time, these ideas will be going inside this building and get organized
