Have you guys ever thought of like keeping a visual memorabilia of sorts? I've been thinking of all the archived photographs from 2000s and how they remind us of the impermanence of our time like its so fickle
I remember how we used to go to PCO's to talk over telephone by inserting 1 rupee coin which would let us converse for exactly 1 minute kek
And then after a certain point in time I dont even remember what exact year it was but literally all of them just disappeared because more people could afford cellphones and shit
now you cant see them anymore except for a few places that still showcase them
And unless somebody from that time tells or shows you a photograph of such PCO kiosk one wouldn't know such things even existed
And that got me thinking how many items and places that exist now would disappear in coming few years, take the picrel for example its just a bepis can with the new logo but in the future this design may cease to exist entirely
Objects that are commonplace now may end up being rare or extinct in the near future so I was wondering how nice it would be to keep a visual documentation of the time and things associated with it itself
Back then I didn't really get the point of collecting coins and stamps and why people cared so much about them but as I grow up I finally understand now
It can make for a cool project honestly and obviously there is a nostalgia factor involved like imagine several years down the line we can show and discuss topics that were familiar to us
so what do you guys think of this?
i wish i could buy an instant camera but this shit is fucking expensive
20 shots cost 2000 rupees
plus the camera costs another 15000
only richfags can afford this

you mean those disposable film cameras? yeah they are pure sovl but unfortunately they no longer make sense in 2026
I remember my dad borrowed one even up until early 2010s to shoot birthday anniversary (???) the film roll deteriorated unfortunately tho due to humidity so thats fun kek
its pretty much a defunct tech and only a few handful of analog photographers are keeping them alive, who also happen to be richfags from first world countries so there's that
We could still use whatever imagining system we have at hand to photograph things, that bepis image is straight from my phone for example

that would be one way of doing it, a bit expensive than digital prints but still cool nonetheless
the idea is still up in the air tho like if you really want to end up with good images then you gotta work it like its a craft to be practiced
